Digital Coupons Set Up

Set up your first digital coupon

Note: Prior to going Live with your Digital Coupons reach out to your Customer Success Specialist for one final check.

Navigate to the top left of your portal and click on the burger menu. Select "Coupons" in the drop-down menu. Click "Create Offer", then name your coupon and select which Hub you'd like to connect this offer to. Click "Create"

Set the Offer:

Head to settings and select "Offer" to edit different aspects of your coupon.

Offer name: For internal use only; we recommend setting a descriptive name that will make your reporting easier. 

Page title: The name that appears at the top of a user's browser when they view the coupon.

Offer image: We highly recommend uploading an image to the offer. This acts as a focal point for the coupon and allows you to provide additional information concerning the offer redemption. The recommended image size 1200 x 675 px.

Offer bar branding: Edit the colour scheme for the offer message bar to match your brand's colours.

 

Redemption:

Edit the coupon's redemption settings.

Offer limits: Set a limit on the number of coupons issued and redeemable

Tip: Run a "First-in, Best-dressed" coupon campaign to increase your coupon redemption rate. To do so, set the redemption limit only, no issue limit. 

Offer schedule: Configure the time and duration of your coupon offer.

Redemption Options: Set the redemption type for this coupon.

 

Locations:

In the locations tab, you can edit everything about the coupon's redeemable locations and products on offer.

There are four different types of coupons:

 

The Selector: 

The Selector coupon allows users to select a specific item, product or store.

To create the Selector coupon, check "Enable redemption locations list" and leave unchecked the "Show geolocation" option. 

To add the various selections, click "Manage redemption locations list", then "Add a Location", and then type in the location or product name and click "Save".

The Locator:

The Locator coupon geolocates to the users nearest redemption locations. Once the user selects a specific location; the coupon will automatically sort to show the closest redemption location with address. 

To create the Locator coupon check both "Enable redemption locations list" and "Show geolocation".

Next add the various selectable locations by clicking "Manage redemption locations list", followed by "Add a Location" and then simply type in the location and address.

The Counter:

Use the Counter coupon to assign a set number of items per flavour or location. This will automatically update as coupons are redeemed and show the location with the most coupons left first to encourage redemptions.

To create the Counter coupon check "Enable redemption list" and set the number of redeemable items per location.

Next, add the selectable locationsor products by clicking "Manage redemption locations list", followed by "Add a Location" and then simply type in the location and click "Save".

All-in-One:

The All-in-One coupon is a combination of the Counter and Locator coupons with both a coupon countdown and location finder.

To create the All-in-One coupon check "Enable redemption list", "show geolocation" and set a default number of redeemable items per location.

Next add the various selectable locations by clicking "Manage redemption locations list", followed by "Add a Location", then simply type in the location and address.

Screens:

The screens tab is where you can edit all the messaging surrounding the coupon redemption process.

Messaging - Offer details: Provide the details of the offer.

Messaging - Swipe to redeem: Provide the details of what to do when swiping.

Messaging - Successful redemption: Provide the messaging when the coupon is successfully redeemed.

Messaging - Already expired: Messaging that appears when the user is trying to redeem an expired coupon.

Messaging - Already redeemed: Messaging that appears when trying to redeem a coupon that has already been redeemed. 

Messaging - Coupons exhausted: Messaging on the coupons exhausted screen.

 

 

Promo screens:

Under the promo screen settings, you have the option of adding an image that all recipients of the coupon see when they first open the coupon.

Tip: This is an excellent opportunity for brand placement and advertising!

Advanced settings:

Under advanced settings you can alter the Hub site that the coupon is linked to.
