Komo Contacts
When a user first engages without submitting any identifiable data, Komo records them as an Anonymous Contact. Once the user submits a form with a uniquely identifying piece of data, such as an email address or mobile number, they transition to Identified. Further steps, such as contact verification through email confirmation or SSO, can elevate them to Authenticated Contacts. From there, whenever Komo sees that contact again, it continues to build upon a unified Contact profile.Data that can be collected through forms

Data sync, sharing, and integrations
Syncing and sharing data with external systems
Komo can send collected data to external systems. Through CRM Sync or Workflows, contact data, events, activities, and attributes can be pushed to third-party software when the target system exposes an API for integration.Custom events and ingesting data
Komo supports ingesting external data through Custom Events. This allows contact data, external activities, and system events to flow into Komo in a consistent, structured way for segmentation, automation, and analytics.- Custom Events can represent external activity such as transactions, POS activity, website events, or other system-generated actions.
- Events can be linked to existing Contacts or stored against anonymous users until they become identified.
- Each event type can trigger Workflows. These can add Contacts to lists or segments, update loyalty tiers, add Contacts to campaign flows, sync data to external CRMs, or trigger follow-up campaigns.
- Custom Events are defined by schemas created in Komo. Incoming data must match the schema or be transformed to fit it.
Insights, analytics, and Dashboards
Komo provides built-in tools for creating custom reports, called Insights, and Dashboards to help you measure engagement and performance across campaigns. Learn how to set up Insights and Dashboards. You can create Insights based on the following data points:- Impressions and page views: How many people saw a page, Card, or campaign.
- Engagement and interactions: Gameplay activity, form starts and submissions, survey responses, quiz answers, and coupon redemptions.
- Contact growth and engagement: How many new Contacts have been identified and captured, and how often they return.
- Performance over time: Trends in participation and engagement.
- Breakdowns: Analyse any Insight by Site, Card, country, city, device, or browser.
