Combine scores from more than one game into a single leaderboard.

Requirements

Requires the MultiCardLeaderboards billing feature. Contact your Komo account team if the connect-multiple-games UI is missing.

Connect games (site-level leaderboards)

  1. Settings → Leaderboards
  2. Create or edit a leaderboard
  3. Sources → Connected games → Connect a game
Site-level leaderboards can connect multiple card types (not only Live Trivia), depending on your entitlement. When you connect games (Settings → Leaderboards → Sources → Connected games → Connect a game), the picker only lists cards that support scoring and have data capture on.

How each game adds score

How a connected game contributes to a site-level leaderboard depends on the card type.

Games with built-in scoring

Score comes from the game itself:
  • Live Trivia
  • Memory Challenge
  • Predictive (Live Predictor)
  • Treasure Hunt

Games with a fixed score

These games award a fixed score you set on the card’s Scoring tab:
  • Photo Frame
  • Checklist
  • Instant Win
  • Number Guess
  • Picker
  • Quiz
  • Scratch & Win
  • Spin to Win
  • Swiper
  • Upload
On the Scoring tab, the Score configuration panel has a Trigger (Disabled, Data Captured, or Gameplay Ended) and a Score (the number of points). Every play that hits the trigger gets that same score. Data Captured is only offered when the card has data capture. Live Q&A and Vote can only score on Data Captured.

Cards that cannot be scored

Image, Video, Fact, Embed, Countdown, Leaderboard, and Carousel cards can’t be scored, so they can’t be connected to a site-level leaderboard.
No. A Quiz does not score by correct answers. Every completed play earns the same fixed score from its Scoring tab, regardless of how many answers were right. If you want points that reflect correct answers, use a Live Trivia (or Memory Challenge) game, whose built-in scoring varies by player.

Score calculation method

In the leaderboard’s Advanced panel, Score calculation method (Average, Sum, or Max) decides how a group’s total is calculated when multiple game plays are grouped together.

Hub Leaderboard card

A Leaderboard card on the hub can also connect multiple Live Trivia games. Setup and styling: Leaderboard.

Display

  • Hub: add a Leaderboard card to a hub page so players see rankings in-hub. The hub Leaderboard card connects Live Trivia games only.
  • Data Feeds: site Live Data Feeds can include Live Trivia leaderboard elements. Live Data Feeds can also show site-level leaderboards (add a leaderboard data source to the feed). Site-level leaderboards that mix other game types are shown through Live Data Feeds; configure feeds separately from the hub card.
Connected Live Trivia games need an email (or phone) field on the data capture form so scores map to the same contact across games. Site-level connections only include games that have scoring and data capture.
